Your privacy is important to Sendmail. This Privacy Policy describes the information practices for Sendmail's websites, including the types of information gathered, how information is tracked, how the information is used and with whom the information is shared.

How We Collect Data

There are a few limited exceptions to the opt-out, but notice is provided that the service includes certain communications. These exceptions include: patch and product security update related communications, defined communications related to product download, and specific communications that are part of the reason for a specific trading or user community. Non-use of Personal Information Without Your Consent Information regarding you (such as name, address and phone number) or your order and the products or services you purchase will not be given or sold to any outside organization for use in marketing or solicitation without your consent. Your information may be shared with agents or contracts of Sendmail for the purposes of providing services for Sendmail. However, Sendmail may be required to provide personally identifiable information to comply with legal process requirements, including without limitation legally mandated reporting, disclosure or other requirements.

Third-Party Websites

This Privacy Policy applies only to sendmail.com and milter.org. Our websites include links to websites that are owned or operated by parties other than Sendmail. We do not control or have any influence over these websites or how they collect or use your information. Sendmail encourages you to review the privacy policy of each website that you visit.

Policy Updates

If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a notice on our websites notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post the notice we will also email users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices. We may update this policy from time to time to describe how new site features affect our use of your information and to let you know of new control and preference features that we provide you.
